  • Ncw Surveys (previously EMC Surveys Ltd.) was established in 1999 to provide a complete and professional surveying solution to Engineers, Architects, Building Contractors and Local Authorities as well as the private individual. 
  • We are based in West Limerick and generally service most of Munster, as well as parts of Connaught & Leinster.
  • Our Surveying staff are highly experienced and are equipped with the latest electronic Total Station and GPS equipment for field operations, as well as up-to-date computers and software of office use, guaranteeing cost effectiveness, quality and accuracy for our clients.

Eamon Mac Auliffe
Eamon Mac AuliffeSurvey Manager
In 1996, Eamon received his Diploma in Civil Engineering with Distinction. Since his qualification, Eamon has worked as a part-time lecturer in LIT and UL in the fields of AutoCad, Structural Design, Built Environment and Surveying. While lecturing, Eamon also worked as a draftsmen in Michael Punch and Partners, now Punch Consulting Engineers. Eamon began his first company in 1999, EMC Surveys. The company changed its name to Ncw Surveys Ltd in 2010.

Ger O'Donovan
Ger O'DonovanSenior Surveyor
Ger is a Civil Engineering graduate of Limerick Institute of Technology and has been working at Ncw Surveys/EMC Surveys since 2004. He is now a Senior Surveyor in the company and is highly experienced in the field of surveying. Ger has worked on many high profile projects while working with NCW Surveys Ltd such as Flood Analysis and Risk Assessment of the lower river Shannon, Limerick Regeneration Project, the Rusal Aughinish Modernisation Programme (Gas Boilers installation) and measured buildings surveys of Limerick city and county landmark listed buildings.

Mark Snow
Mark SnowGeo. Surveyor
Mark is a recently qualified Civil Engineer, having studied Civil Engineering (Level 7) and Management (Level 8) in Limerick Institute of Technology. He previously worked with Roadbridge and has been with Ncw Surveys now since 2011. He has worked on many projects since then, including various topographical and buildings surveys such as a survey of Tarbert House, Co, Kerry. Mark is interested in all types of sport during his free time.

Kevin O'Kelly
Kevin O'KellyGeo. Surveyor
Kevin is recently qualified in Civil Engineering Management (Level 8), having studied in Limerick Institute of Technology. Kevins role with NCW Surveys is as a Geo. Surveyor and during his spare time, he is interested in GAA and Golf.

Michael Culhane
Michael CulhaneGeo. Surveyor
Michael is our newest member of staff at NCW Surveys. Michael is a graduate of the University of Limerick, having graduated with a Civil Engineering Degree. He has previously worked for Limerick City Council on various civil engineering projects, including the construction of a boardwalk at Limerick Quay. During his spare time, Michael likes to play rugby and football and enjoys sport in general.

Frances Meehan
Frances MeehanAccounts Administrator
Frances is the Accounts Administrator here at Ncw Surveys Ltd. and she has been with the company since 2012. Frances has a Degree in Mathematics from University College Cork (2001) and graduated with Distinction. She is also a member of the Chartered Accountants Association of Ireland (ACCA). Previous Companies that Frances has worked for include Masterchefs Hospitality and Greenspan Products. Frances plays a vital role in organising the business.

Breda Walsh
Breda WalshGeo. Surveyor
Breda is studying Civil Engineering in the University of Limerick. She is currently on Cooperative Placement with Eamon at NCW Surveys Ltd since January 2014 and will be graduating from UL in 2015. Breda has already completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering (Level 7) from the Institute of Technology in Tralee, graduating with a Distinction. Types of projects she has worked on include historical buildings surveys and the LIDL buildings survey project. She is also a student member with Engineers Ireland and the Institute of Civil Engineers. Her role with NCW Surveys is as a Geo. Surveyor.
